Nanyang Primary School
Makerspace Redesign

Nanyang Primary School in Singapore represents a learning community that is as vibrant on the inside as its fanciful colors on the outside. Their Makerspace was originally designed mostly for robotics and computer driven activities. NYPS wanted to provide a more playful place that supported a STEAM approach to learning and creating. I was asked to reuse, redesign and reorganize the space, while being respectful of the school budget.

A few new items were purchased.

Mostly everything else

was repurposed.

Larger tables replaced

small computer tables,

for better group work and

handling of project materials.
