I’ve always been curious about what happens when you bring seemingly unrelated things together. My journey began with art, expanded into technology, and eventually grew into a lifelong exploration of how we learn, create, solve problems, and make ideas real. For more than 40 years, I’ve worked across art, technology, education, and hands-on making — from training creative professionals in the early days of digital imaging to designing learning experiences, conducting educational research, evaluating programs, and sharing ideas through speaking and teaching in the U.S. and Singapore.

That journey eventually led me to Makerology Studio, where I bring all of those experiences together. I have designed makerspaces, developed interdisciplinary STEAM programs, led professional learning, and created hands-on experiences that invite people to be curious, experiment, make mistakes, and try again. I believe making is about much more than learning how to use a tool. It is an expressive way of thinking and creating — a way to explore ideas, connect with others, and discover what might be possible. At its heart, making builds curiosity, creativity, and connection. Today, I’m expanding that work beyond traditional education into creative experiences for individual makers, communities, and organizations in the arts, education, and healthcare, because I believe making changes everything.
